ENGELS TO THOMAS COOK AND SON
IN LONDON
[Eastbourne], after 3 March 1893
Dear Sirs,
Your letter of the 3rd has been forwarded to me here.[1] The gentleman in question[2] is a young physician and member of the University of Vienna, Austria, where he graduated and practised with distinction.
He has been highly recommended to me by a prominent member of the Austrian Parliament[3] and I have no doubt that you will find him a very desirable customer.
